Exercise to get free platform tickets

So railways is Installing kiosk machines across the country where one has to do 30 squats in less than 3 minutes and get a free platform ticket.

On surface it seems a great idea. However if you think a bit it isnt.
In most stations its hard to get a platform ticket. As a result who so ever wants to go can go to a platform and do whatever they like. Vending machines for platform tickets have been failure. TTE harasses those without one and at times gets a 100 rupee note from them.

Ideally one should be able to get a platform ticket on app and pay 20 rs or so. If at station it should take 30 seconds to get a platform ticket.

This Only purpose this serves is if someone gets caught by TTE they go in front of this machine and exercise repent and come back with a platform ticket.

Might as well have them do it in front of tte and Save the Tax payers money used to install and maintain these machines. more

No, I support this idea. It's really good. If people will be punished and made to do situps, they'll never roam on plateforms without plateform ticket. more
3 minutes to deliver a platform ticket? It will be a good joke in India.... On Sat, 22 Feb 2020 10:25:00 +0530 Bharat Lal wrote > more
