Exorbitant charges in Hospitals

It is the responsibility of the insuring company to negotiate with the hospitals. Instead they negotiate with the patient, telling that room rent will not be paid, administrative charges will not be paid etc. We are not going to a hospital for pleasure trip, nor we want a separate administrative help. Opt only such insurance policies where they pay everything. Government also should it mandatory for the insurance agents to pay 100% amount required for treatment. more

Medical insurance is taken by all not for the sake of getting treatment in hospitals when needed, but to get income tax benefit from the premium that is paid. If we go through the terms and conditions, no one will opt for the policy. These are written in fine print only to safeguard the organization not help the public. It is only the relationship between the insurance agent, the hospitals covered, the insurance company and the person getting insured that is taken into account. As per medical terms all over the world, the moment a person reaches the age of 40, the person is supposed to undergo a full medical checkup. Has anyone done this or does the agent bother you on this ? Because no one trusts the report as well. The premiums will go up based on the medical issues that the report may throw up. Every one concerned in this operation, is hand in glove with each other and the general public is being fleeced. And when one tries to point out the lacuna, we start talking about privatisation. At the end of the day, whether the organization is privately held or public, the general public is taken for a royal ride. And nothing can be done about this. more
With due respect only one advice - Read Policy document carefully before accepting. Frankly speaking how many of us read complete policy document before taking policy. I know its very long and written in very small letters but it is the one which we are buying so we must read it to know what we are purchasing. Cheaters are everywhere we need to be careful what all i can say more
