I completely agree with Aditi, Sasikanth and Govind; GST has increased the cost of living by 30 to 40%. Now there is a further increase in LPG prices on the other hand as Jai Shankar says Petrol and Diesel are out of the purview of common man but what about middle class people who own 2 wheelers? or have to maintain a family car out of necessity? I believe that we were enticed by this dream of achhe din and voted for Shri Narendra Modiji but I regret that there has been nothing but a constant rise in the cost of living and medical facilities have also become more dearer; for some of us eating out is slowly becoming a luxurious and expensive indulgence which has to be avoided because it costs a lot nowadays due to GST. Thanks to Modiji now we can hardly afford to eat out or take our families for an outing in our own city, if the petrol/diesel, fmcg, and transportation increases constantly then the way people brought in BJP as an alternative to Congress; similarly people will look out for an alternative in the upcoming 2019 elections. more

GST circle is perhaps not a political field to criticize the govt. Whatever problems we are now facing against the policies of govt, we should address the same to the concerned Ministry or PM directly as protest or proposal. Here we only need the clarification of confusing points of GST not known to the suppliers, consumers or other enthusiasts from the experts of this circle. Regarding election, govt change etc u may write to different newspapers. You may write to the PM in his apps to change his Maan Ki Baat as yours. Whatever may be the GST policies, if the business people do not imply the same on goods or service and do not pass on the benefits to the customers, we will not get the benefit as desired. There is no practical reason against enhancement of prices in majority goods, it's just a tricks from the business society to earn excess profit by dishonest means. In GST regime, prices should come down nearly 25-30% in approximately 80% goods. So pl specify the problems and lodge your complaint to the local GST authority or GST council or to the Finance Ministry not always blaming the govt using ill spells. Whenever on spot protest against billing excess price of any goods or service, do the same if u know the matter or complain later with proof. Only blame and criticize would not bring any solution. I have to keep myself in mind that I am also responsible for many other problems somewhere somehow. Thanks to all. more
This circle provides to express opinion. One can praise or criticize the govt. The readers have option to read or not. But one has to give supporting reasons to criticize or praise. If it is to be filtered every negative comment, No comments. Pl lot us not forget it gives feed back to Govt also. more
When citizens are facing genuine problems with govt policies and procedures and having tried and failed in all means to get a solution to their problems, if they share it on this circle, it should not be categorised as politics. If one is not allowed to criticize the govt or its policies, then there is no need even for this Circle also. Just for sycophancy and one sided praise of govt, there is already enough of material loudly available in electronic media, print media, govt websites, man ki baat and every where. more
