Everyone see attached. Our exports are not growing but declining. The commerce minister should take this up and the next Govt must clearly define what they will do to boost export. more
Inspite so many incentives our export is declining reveals :- 1- Our Export item is not so attractive with respect to Quality specially in finished goods. 2-Inspite the fact that man power cost in India is cheaper , Our product normally pricewise is costlier, means either we are not capable in technology or our optimum utilization is poor. 3- We are exporting best quality raw material at low price otherside importing low/medium quality finished goods at higher price. 4- Our industries now very much dependent on Govt. assistance rather then self suuficiency. etc. more
We are forgetting important issue. How the export figures are complied whether with customs report or foreign exchange earned from exports based on RBI. Because this route was used by many for money laundering and round tripping due to lax RBI monitoring under FEMA. There are 88000 default exporters who failed to realise exports done in 2014 not realised till 2016 as per EDPMS data, but no action by RBI till date. And the amount since fera up to 2014 ifor 40 years is 17000 trillion rupess and 95% of this amount pertains to the period 2004 to 2014. So due to the monitoring of RBI and fearing statutory action any time, such fixicious exports might have reduced for the data. more
It is not only government which should take efforts to boost exports. participating manufacturers & traders should also be responsible in terms of product quality, timely delivery etc. without looking at any how make maximum profit. Then only exports will improve. more
