Express or local train

Kanya kumari Express which runs from Bangalore to Kanyakumari every day seven days a weak.It stops in all the stations on the way, and the speed is as good as a meter gauge train as soon as it enters Kerala it becomes worst than a local train, normally in indian railways a person with a waiting listed ticket is not allowed to enter the reserved compartment but here its the opposite , It becomes local in kerala ,specially from Palaghat to Kottayam and vice versa it becomes tough to sit with six to seven people in a seat, in a reserved compartment.People buy local ticket and enter any reserved compartment of their choice , and they harass the the passengers , TTE if informed does not bother instead, he gives an advice for the same, Many a times there seems to be a verbal fight between the local daily travellers and the passengers, This iam seeing from my child hood .
I request the railways to do some thing for the local travellers and long route travellers, and restrict the entry of local tkt holders.

Todayi.e., 24.10.2014 I had booked one ticket on tatkal AC1 for 12839 Howrah Chennai express and my wife had to board the train at Srikakulam where the train stops for 2 minutes but it never it stops only for one minute. As the train entered the platform, we were surprised and shocked to see that AC1 both doors were closed and we had to bang the doors to open and suddenly one passenger by gods sent person opened the door. The TT then came and asked me the seat number I banged him like anything. It is a great shame and shock to hear that after paying Rs.400 extra tatkal ticket and full fare we had to undergo this kind of treatment and if this is the case our Railways cannot improve even after 100 years from now and the same feedback will be receiving from the public. I must say they should intimate us about what action is being taken by the Government or else giving feedback is waste and useless. more
@Ajay Kumar......it is to do with the people of kerala and kerala officers in Railways. They always demand that any train enters kerala should stop in all junctions and carry passengers well supported by govt officials. Worst hit by this is Coimbatore passengers as any trains announced will be extended to Kerala and reduce the Quota reservation for us. if you check Trains after coimbatore, stops in every local station in kerala increasing the journey time whereas it by passes busy city like coimbatore and tirupur and reaches erode enroute to maintain the timings. In tamilnadu only major towns and cities is covered by Trains whereas in Kerala every station in a span of 20kms has stoppages. They think it is their right to board the Train........Hell with the Regionalism..........Hell to the politicians....... more
Reg Ajay kumar: All the xpress trains after crossing border into Kerala, become local passenger trains.Every station is situate within an area where one or more Railway Senior Officer/s resides more
It Is Not that worst as in UP or bihar but its matter where railways has ignored its services in this sector. specially for working people who have to travel from one town to another for work,Railways should seriously look into this sector and provide local train service from palaghat to kottayam and vice versa at a high frequency (specially in the mornings and evenings)this will solve the problem to a large extend, and tug of war between long route travelers and local travelers will not occur. more
I think the situation is seen in bihar only but is it done in kerela, oh no...... more
