Extension of date to publish revised MRP to Dec 31
Attached please find our notification which allows old/pre GST stock to have stickers with revised MRP and be sold till Dec 31'st, 2017. more

What is the use of the notification unless strict compliance thereof is ensured! Have the government so far ascertained compliance of the instructions by the manufacturers/traders and initiated appropriate action against the non-compliants? more

Again it will be extended to March'2018 and so on. Government has no intention to stop this. more

At least Ministry has a concern for consumers otherwise unofficial permission could have been granted with an assurance of No Legal Action.

This is allowed to be done at initial stage i.e. on non duty paid goods lying at factory,importer place and repacking stage -where repacking amounts to manufacture. And not at the stage of dealer or sales depot. more

Good.But guidelines on how much difference may persist for such items over old rates with revised GST could also have been notified. more
