Extortion of Truckers and Goods Tpt.
The big currupt minded will never change, as the Govt. has given some relaxation to Transport industry for smooth operational activity by Toll Free movements. But the RTOs and Sales Tax check posts at cross state borders are extorting money from truckers as unofficial entries for every month i.e. it is collected from truck drivers while they move from one state to other and the entry charges differs from check to check post and with type of vehicles ranging from ₹ 700 to ₹ 6000 per month and their own symbol is marked on permit bags with diffrent coloured choks and ₹200 and above are taken every trip by their chamchas as Chai-Pani. It has been happening from years under the nose of higher authority and transport ministry of states especially at the borders of MP, Chhatisgarh, Orrisa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu etc.. This is un indirect burden over the pockets of common men by causing inflation as the prices of everything are considered by adding its transportation cost. Will the center and state Govt. inquire about this serious issue ? more

Railway employees enjoy free and concession travel for self and family during service and after retirement too. No govt can deny such privilege to either railways or Air India. Vote bank will be affected. more

You can count 100 % of the Check posts are milking points for various departments .If you just take one armed escort and ten trucks you can fill all trucks with these corrupt check post officials at any given time.Pay by card swiping and cctvs and vigilence .This is some wAy.But our old corrupt system is like Hydra you kill it will come back. more

I expect GST may give some relief to this type of extortion. When Govt is heavily moving towards a cashless economy such payments may easily be traced and the culprits can be nabbed and brought to book. Thanks more

Everyone know that this type of loot is the sensitive method of loot by the police and this is rampant from the beginning. Modi Govt cannot root out the black money. However, the Govt may be successful by 50%. Later on if the Govt relaxes , the Black money will have U turn to 100%. So the practice will be back to square. All the Govt officials are not dishonest. The loot start from the top to bottom. However, let us see how the Govt reacts after 31 March, 2017. I do not feel overall revolution. Ram Yadav more

There is a racket run by transporters which I became aware of through an experience of mine.I have grave doubts of either a fraudulent ISO certificate or a corrupt certification process. Never did I think that an ISO compliant company would be involved in shady business. Seems getting an ISO certification is about paying money - there is no quality checks and. can only hope justice prevails.So I request the authorities please check and verify whether all transporters with operating from Mumbai are genuine with ISO MARK .Please see their web site - www.ompackers.com . more
