Extracting bribes for treatment at Govt hospitals
Today its reported attached that bribes were being taken for stentiing in organised format at RML hospital.
Let me share with all, this is the case with most hospitals where poor are given access by taking money from them and many of the PAs of doctors double up as collection agents. GB Pant, Safdarjung, there is a bloody nexus.

it may be going in most of the hospitals. govt controlling agencies should take actions to stop this illegal process

Getting treatment in any govt hospital incldg AIIMS you need to know some employee or get ready to pay for timely treatment. No checks by hospital administration nor local authorities poor life is taken as cheapest . Due to such corruption pvt hospitals have taken sound place in society.Had govt machinery worked for needy ,such mushroom activity could be controlled.

It's not shocking. It's been going on since ages and only this government hospital has been in news about 'connected ' people who can get away with illegalities. Years ago this hospital had a doctor who would bring home fruits, vegetables and eggs meant to be given to tuberculosis patients and this Dr from Delhi 6 was administrator who was also doing private practice at his dingy setup in narrow lanes.
