Seems to be a viable option for an eye drop to be put in the eye, but apart from half the drop remaining on the lids (upper and lower) there are chances that the lid area is not clean and hygienic enough to be relied on unless it can be ensured that the child's face is thoroughly cleaned beforehand. more
