Failure - AQI of 999
Failure of firecracker ban shows the utterly lawless nature of people of Delhi and rest of NCR. It is evident in illegal constructions, encroachments, unruly traffic etc. They will choke to death but not give up celebrating Diwali with pollutants and smoke. Totally Shameful and shocking. See attached how we maxed put on pollution PM 10 of 999 and now we will fill hospitals soon. more

Laws are flouted only when such stupid laws are imposed. If you want to curb pollution then ban cars, industrial smoke generators, AC for the whole year, then you will see there is no pollution. more

There were very very few crackers in K&P block Hauz Khas Enclave Delhi and none beyond the stipulated time. Citizens are becoming law abiding and will improve in the years to come. Of course there are still a number who love flaunting laws more

High pollution levels are there year round. It is naive to pin the blame on Diwali crackers. It would be better to explore & analyse the issue in depth before posting. more

Its so NAIVE to simply jolt the responsibility from your own shoulders. I agree that the pollution is there all the year round, but does mean that one can burst crackers for hours and add to the pollution? more

Lawlessness starts from politicians.Check our CM Kejriwal,self declared Anarchist elected by all of us with huge majority so that he can even road roll his own party men.Bjp seems trying the same tactics. more
