Failure of ticket issue with online payment in spite of payment in Bank accounts
Several times, it so happened that I booked the rail tickets through online Bank payments. Amounts debited, but tickets not issued. The irresponsible reply from Railways is that we are refunding that failed transaction. I doubt that nexus exists between irctc and booking agents. Today two tickets same thing happened, a fresh. It is only hoped that IRCTC will take this as serious matter and rectify this regularly happening phenomenon. My complaints are not heeded and answered that they are remitting the amount back. At a time when getting accommodation is difficult in trains, debiting the amount, but decline of ticket issue is not morally correct by Railways. Once proof of such amount payment is submitted, tickets as requested should be automatically made by Railways. Railway Board may give priority for such decision. more
Since the so-called changes in the website few months ago, the ONLINE system has gone to dogs & become very difficult. IRCTC under BJP / Piyush Goel only concentrating on ads., but not passanger care. There is no improvement in increasing the efficiency of the Railways, cost cutting, competency etc. more
A big responsible organisation like IRCTC should also act responsibly . If certain things like this happen the customer should be informed immediately and ask for pardon . Otherwise it sounds very authoritative . ARE WE NOT CUSTOMERS ? more
I have no comment on this issue. I am a Sr citizen since long. I have been traveling a lot with reserved ticket. Many occasion because of change in itinerary, I cancelled / changed My reserved ticket in the past and I have never faced any problem. I myself make my travel planning, fill up reservation slip and reserved ticket from rail way / railway authorized Kiosk. I never made ticket through IRCTC. It seems soft ware used by IRCTC is not foolproof which need updating. On Thu, Sep 6, 2018 at 6:01 PM Dr. Mohan Rao wrote: > more
