FAITH & RELIGION CAN’T OVERRIDE PUBLIC HEALTH.THE PATIENT 31 OF SOUTH KOREA

IS AN EYE OPENER TO BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS:

The epidemic in South Korea started in a Church with a personality cult centered Lee Man-hee as a Messianic leader .The cult members kept travelling to wuhan and S. Korea frequently facilitating rapid transmission . Patient no 31 who is supposed to have attended worship service several times was supposed to have contaminated more than 600 in early – mid February . That was when CONID19 appeared to be contained as the number of confirmed infections stabilized at 30. Sensing a turning tide, many Seoul residents took off their surgical masks and resumed riding the subway and shopping at malls. Then emerged Patient 31 and the cases shot up to 1,000 .Now it is within 2 digits .

In India the first COVID19 case in was reported early as 30th January '20. But only by 10th March it rose to 50 ,by 20th to 150 . THAT SET THE AIARM BELLS RINGING . Prime Minister acted very quickly by announcing a trial “Janata Curfew ” for a day and imposed Shut down Curfew for 21 days from 25th . Yet certain incidents happened in India and the some other countries before our shut down .

The recent Conference where foreign Delegates from Germany , France , Italy Thailand, Malaysia took part along with 1,000’s of Indians which was over on 14/15th March . Maximum number detected were in Tamil nadu followed by the southern states . Luckily the source of infection came- to- the- fore through alert interactions . Now the rest are being traced and necessary steps are taken to intercept and check .

There were other events also having taken place before the announcement of shut down / Curfew . like the Mallanna Festival in Anatapur Dt. of A.P. on 4th March and devotion at Tirupathy till 19th March .

It is really good that the people have understood and cooperated in Public interest and stopped this mass gatherings . more

If not there in constitution and in the mind of all in India (Indian and foreigners) - let there b an amendment to tell all that Religion is a personal choice and no person or community can defy the law of the country. If it is already there in Constitution - action must be taken against those who allowed it to happen and they should loose their jobs - whether it is an officer or Minister or anyone. Why our intelligence is so poor and why our planning is so poor? We need Institutes to have courses in both. Any takers ? more
