Dictatorship is not a solution to corruption. History and current world politics has taught us that. Even communism which is similar to democracy is no exception. Because Dictator is a single person and he cannot be present everywhere at all times to check on corruption. All human beings are born unequal and are driven by different value systems and as per his current needs. Somebody in dire situation (or just to meet his pity needs) will be ready to trade his value systems to tide over the situation. This can only be corrected by implementing and teaching value systems down to the last person in the society. We should not glorify the person or practices which use corrupt measures and also teach our guide our children accordingly. anybody who is corrupt should be boycotted socially. This is the only way to bring change in the society because man is a social animal and social isolation is the only thing he is afraid of. Always remember a dictator can never be a honest person because he is hungry for power / control and he will go to any lengths to achieve this. more
Your observations are correct to an extent.
If a Dictator is selfless having no family, is
well qualified, he should be given the opportunity for for 10 years to stem the rot
generated by the democratically elected
Governments. Corruption, time bound delivery
of justice, nepotism in Govt. jobs and promotions etc. should be the only focus.
After completion of tenure, all assets
of the Dictator should go to the National
Exchequer and he should get a monthly
pension of Rs.50,000/- with no other perks.
In democracy, every elected and selected member considers himself above law which
makes the things worse for the common man.
Even a class IV employee considers himself
a DON what to talk about others. more
The Dictator should be selfless person, well qualified and in 50s. He must not have children, wife, parents, brothers and sisters to share the fortunes. Laloos, Mulayams, Badals, Jaya, Karunanidhi, Mayawati, Abdullas etc. do not qualify for this post. People like late Gen. Jacob and the likes are most suitable for the post of Dictator. more
That is the need of hour but nothing will happen until the lust for money by hook or crook goes more
& this list would never go away. Human nature is like that.. more
