Dear Sirs, My nephew got married ten years back. They got a son now aged about eight years. About fours back his wife along with the son went to her parents house to get prepared for DSC (teacher Hindi) examination couching. He was helping her financially for her couching and his son's studies. After the examinations she joined in a school as teacher at her parents' house and staying with them since then. When ever he approached her and asked her to join him she avoided by saying that the child's education will be disturbed and will join him only after the confirmation of her govt. teacher's job and place of posting. But suddenly she changed her opinion and now she doesn't want to join him. She went to police station and booked a case against him and his mother under dowry harrasement which is not true to the best of my knowledge. The police have called him for compromisal by paying the maintenance to the child and to divorce her for which he is not willing. He is a daily wage earner. FIR not registered so far. Please help him in getting justice. They are trying to Black mail him. We need some experts guidance. more

There are several Supreme Court Verdicts wherein abuse of Legal Provisions of "dowry harassment" and section 498 is given recently. As the case is filed - you have to fight the same, but at the same time either y writ in HC and / Or Separate counter complaint you have to brought before the Court of Law the true facts. more

Do not expect help from elders , neighbors or friends, they are for tamasha watching only , problem of one suffering man cannot be a TV serial for all and sundry, and we have courts to decide , though it may take time and money to hire a sympathetic lawyer. more

Can you prove blackmail ? Do it this way, if she calls you people , ask her leading questions or show her or her relatives that you are being helpful ,she will blurt out everything considering you people stupid, record the calls of her Extortion Demands and use it as a proof in court. Such women should be exposed because they have brought down dignity of women by abusing women friendly laws. more

Whether one goes for Restitution of Conjugal right or any other remedy- ultimately he has to pay a huge amount of money because such a woman has already made up her mind not to come back to the life of same man and the result will be divorce and alimony. more

This has become a common practice of some women who have some ulterior motives like having some other person etc. Man is always at risk of suffering from a woman/wife. there r many such cases. number is rising daily. Women hv started all sorts of bad things without thinking about the consequences in later part of their lives. I would advise all women folk to think about the future life also and also the life of your children! Law is on the side of women. but at the same time consequences r wide. So stop harassing your husband/men. If a man takes any legal course, it is a very very lengthy battle in life. A day will come when no boy will marry a girl and all girls will have to lead a lonely life. more
