Fare capping removal hurts consumer as airlines loot
LocalCircles was very right to oppose removal of fare capping two months ago.
The govt removed air fare caps saying that fares for consumers will reduce.
Just look at fares right now. Airlines are charging 3-5 times right now and profiteering left right and center.

I guess that it isn't the Demand that is dictating the price. It is the aligopaly of operators dictating. One operator adopts higher prices and the others follow suit. All of them invariably have similar occupancy rate, which is not too flabbergasting. more

Are the airlines have really hiked the fares on different air roots as claimed in the post? But I find the fact different from the clim of higher fare after the government's move to remove the capping system . As one of the members said, it entirely depends on demands and availability. More over air fare below the operating costs will in no way help the passengers rather than suspension of operation. more
