Farmer Suicides

I was reading through an article in India Today on farmer suicide. Its high time people of this nation give a concerned approach to this rather than just keep ignoring it. If required we should all be ready for a steep price increase for the food products that we consume. The article says 70% of the farmers own less than 5 acres and they are not able to make any profit. The government should increase the MSP of the food products so that farmers make a descent profit from their produce. Yes this will increase the price of food products, yes this will make the savings less for office goers, but its cruel to ignore the plight of farmers. They should be able to make a life for themselves.
The article appeared is below :

Reality is totally different. Many articles about farmers death appeared and still hovering for years are nothing but political vendetta. Recently in 2020 '21 there was farmers strike. The world realised that the strick was nothing but paid drama and world leaders also realised. Now, having exposed in public by various antinationals, not worth discussing on such issues. It is my personal view. more
Connect me with such farmers. Would love to help them more
What a faulty logic. We should not be paying more, they should be getting more and the balance must come from The middle men who must be freaking eliminated by enabling farmer-consumer direct connect. more
Rapacious consumption to be blamed. In 27 years grain, according to attached report, would be finished. ऐसे में सारी प्रधान मंत्री की योजनाएं किस काम की? Farmers needs must be heard and farmers themselves, treated with respect. more
