Why Fast Tag should be made compulsory. It is unnecessary burden on a common man who seldom/ rarely travels on National Highways. It is a scheme to collect huge money for their beneficiaries. more
Fast Tag is a good policy and need to be fully implemented. It make life easier and lot of pollution due to the congestion at the toll plazas are avoided. At present even though the toll gates are demarcated for Fast tag and Cash counters, there is no discipline in the vehicle users to follow the Fast tag lane and they enter and stop the flow of traffic by doing the cash transaction. The only way to control is that if the non - fast tag vehicle enters the Fast tag counter, they must be charged double the toll free. This will make them not misuse the fast tag lane. more
