FDI to create jobs

The Govt has not been able to get the job engine going. We discussed in this circle in April May this year but no action seems to have taken by the Government.

Why aren't we looking at FDI as a way to create jobs? I am not an expert but we should list down all areas where FDI wants to come and all areas where we as a country can accept FDI and augment our capabilities.

SMEs according to me should be top area, most cant get funds for business from private equity, banks arent loaning because of npa baggage. why can't fdi be invited into manufacturing, distribution, retail? more

The VIP s who have adopted these places for development have to show that they can generate local employment by starting rural based project with local people . Simple advertisement about spending money on roads and drains and drinking water will be forgotten in a few years . Coming forward to create local jobs in their area of adoption will set a trend. more
Until cottage & small scale industries are revived, required infrastructure and marketing facilities are made available and agriculture is focused at par with other industries, people are skilled in all areas at ground level with time bound programme and our vast rural areas are provided with all kind of infrastructure and facilities, the burning issue of unemployment is likely to continue. more
Unless Traders, Businessmen Industrialists step in Bank through Transactions, GST Returns, Banks mandated for major % lending on Production and Self Employment, INDIAN ECONOMY CANNOT HELP ITS CITIZEN. more
Manufacturing Units should be started in Villages like old time to control the migration of villagers to cities for jobs, so that old people of villages should stay on roads and near temples for begging. more
Make the village industries tax free. Give them incentive if the cottage industry is run on coop basis. more
Sir, Perhaps the most attractive low investment high employment activity is Tourism. Lot more attention to create necessary infrastructure and promotional activity needs to be given. Promoting tourism would require all kinds of services covering many skilled and unskilled jobs. RYK. On Wed, 20 Dec 2017 17:28:15 +0530 Ajay Kumar wrote > more
