FEE HIKE IN SCHOOLS

Do you know that your hard earned money is being siphoned off from your pocket by the education mafia (collusion of our district administration officials with school management(s) if your child or your relatives child or friend’s child is in any public school in Faridabad?
I will share you how !!!!!!!
Each one us working in any sector knows that every sector (be it banking, hospital, pharmaceuticals, telecom comes under regulatory body which may RBI (in case of banks), for hospitals it is Directorate General of Health Services , like wise for education the regulatory body is Director Secondary Education, Haryana,
As per regulatory norms:
• Before commencement of any academic session the school manager needs to submit the details of expenses and the income of the school in Form VI
• The management cannot transfer funds to any other society (which the schools always do).
• Each school shall submit proforma duly filled by Ist January of every year to the appropriate authority (Director School Education).
• Fees shall be charged in the approved fee structure by the Directorate and no fee shall be charged for any smart class, computer fee/activity fee.
• Admission fee/Annual Charge shall be taken in class 1, 6, 9 and 11 only for new admissions (However schools are always taking annual charges and amassing crores of illegal money which is actually your hard earned money).
• All school shall comply with the directive of Haryana School Education Act 2003 and the recommendations and orders of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court in letter and spirit.
• No school shall be allowed to charge admission fee, tuition fee and pupil’s fund in advance before the commencement of the academic session. (However many schools of which we are well aware close their admissions in the month of September).
In last September I had to cough up the Rs. 60000 as an extortion money ( I am purposely using the word extortion as I was denied admission If I do not pay Rs. 60000 in September to earn a huge interest component ).
Now I hope you had come to know how your hard earned money is getting siphoned off on illegal and irrational fee structures and various other heads for which the Govt of Haryana never gives any approval.
When we complain to this the administration is unwilling to take any stringent action because these activities are being patronized by the politicians (most of the public schools are owned by these politicians or by their relatives) whom we elected with the hope that may be corruption will be curbed to some extent. But it seems that it is just an old wine in a new bottle.
However few of parents from various schools like MVN, DPS, APEEJAY , RYAN, VIDYA MANDIR PUBLIC SCHOOL got united against this unjustice and formed a forum “HARYANA ABHIBHAWAK EKTA MANCH” to curb this menace.
On 24th March and 25 th March the parents protested in DC and HUDA office which was covered by daily media”Dainink Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan).
We are attaching the same for your reference.
Under strong protest of the parents a letter was issued by DEO Faridabad that the fee applicable for academic session 2014-2015 will be applicable to 2015-2016 also.
SO DEAR PARENTS PLEASE DO NOT PAY ANY HIKED FEE FOR THIS YEAR AND JOIN YOUR OWN PLATFORM WITHOUT ANY FEAR AND HESTITATION
