As it is, you are Mumbai based. For SC, you may be referring to some AOR at SC and thus costs would multiply.. more

Iqbal JI......it would be highly dependent on two things ......what is the nature of the case (which would give an idea to the lawyer the work which he or she would need to put in ) and the profile of the advocate (name in the profession, number of years of experience in the same field etc.). Finally the advocate would primarily on this basis arrive at a base figure which would include approx. availability in the court for "hearings" and then give an approx. fee. You may want to contact lawrato (on net) and you would get lawyers who would either tell you on phone of they would call you to their office (some would charge or some would give a 1 hour session free - if they charge in mumbai the max. charge is INR 3000) more

Sir can you please tell me a lawyer who charges Rs 3000 because I have met so many lawyers & they quote fees from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000. There was only one lawyer who quoted Rs 5,000 only to send a notice to LIC but will not fight the case. more

I agree with Brij Garg. There must be MRP on all prof fees. Extra money is only hoarded and turned into black money. Adv like Drs charge fancy fees. Harsh Salve charged only Rs1 for rep India Gov at the Hague against Pak. That's a one-off case. He may never appear for us. SC adv may charge 2 laks per presence. Don't fight principled battles ...Fight only do or die battles. Contact am NGO. Never go to courts, police stations or hospitals. You never return..Or are free....My grandma's advice 50 yrs back. more
