1. The information system is very slow

2. The information provided on helplines is not always very accurate

3. Information on platform of arrival or departures of a particular train are often changed in the last minutes

4. The train enquiry website is slow

5. If tried from a mobile--often the station choice is very difficult--probably due to slow loading

6. Sometimes it takes a long time to get a reply from a sms enquiry

7. The information provided is not correctly updated

8. The train timings shown in National Train Enquiry System is almost always wrong

9. The IVRS keeps saying that the train is on time even if it is 1 hour late

10. The train enquiry is good as long as train is almost on time. In case of delay, it never shows correct status

11. Sometimes when one feeds the train number in the Train Status app, it shows the name of the train but when you go for live train status, it says train not found. more

Many times passenger trains have been kept waiting to allow express or other priority trains to pass; among other reasons for delays. If the only reason for not getting real-time updates is to show a cleaner image about Indian Railways then it is time to either put things right or show the facts. Covering up will never allow us to improve on quality. more  
IRCTC is irresponsible in ticket booking. Most often the amounts are being debited from bank accounts and ticket booking is failing. There should be penal action against such instances, eg., levying fine to the software person responsible for delay in site to bank to site communication. In spite of enormous number of such complaints, Railways is not initiating any action. Repaying money in NOT A SOLUTION. more  
Please open a Feedback System from the passengers regarding Lack of Punctuality Of Trains... I find it a chronic malady more  
Many times it is not updated and shows status "Waiting for Update" more  
Cleanliness of toilets in trains is an issue. Always stinking. water shortage is there on all trains leaving Jammu for Delhi. more  
I HAVE POINTED OUT AND CONVEY MY DOUBT IN A COMPLAINT FORM, THAT SOME BODY HAS USED BY NAME AND MOBILE NUMBER TO MAKE BOOKING RAIL TICKETS BY CASH AND CONVERTED ITS BLACK MONEY BY CANCELLING. NEITHER THE RAILWAY, IRCTC AND THE MINISTER LONG BACK SEVERAL TIMES, NEITHER ANYBODY HAS REPLIED NOR MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN RESET. I AM NOT ABLE TO CREATE MY ACCOUNT. AND THEREBY I AM NOT ABLE TO BOOK A TICKET ON LINE. more
