FERVENT REQUEST TO THE CENTRE:

Thanks to the Media Alertness. We are being posted on the Vaccination activities in the state as well as the whole nation. It is good that every citizen knows the position of where he /she is, the District is, the State is in comparison the Indian Scenario.

There are some states, Union Territories reached the mild blue to Deep purple colours (8% + Vaccinated). Small states, U T’s understandable. We in Tamilnadu are happy about the light blue and the Purple in several states. Don’t you think the Indian Citizens living in T.N. also will have aspiration to keep the citizens safely from the deadly Corona Variants. (1. Duration of illness is longer. 2. Rapidly goes on to the lungs and to cause Pneumonia. 3. Tansmissibility is vert high. 4. Most importantly, ducks TRPCR tests and Dodges Vaccines which produce less Antibodies to this Varients) But it is sad to see so many Brown patches while some alone are blue upwards (I understand the small states /UT.s )

But maintain that standard of supply to other states too. Particularly Tamil Nadu. A state which was busy with Elections first (6th April ), main cause for the spike in 2nd wave cases beside behaviour; then had to wait WITHOUT AN ELECTED GOVERNMENT TO MAKE DECISIONS FOR A MONTH. All the Election states had to wait till the last phase of Elections were over on 30th April . Even for exit polls. But the Scenario T.N and Kerala were different. The 2nd wave climbing steeply during this period.

The Elected Governments had their Handful when they were sworn in after waiting for a month for the Results with their hands tied. Yet the Leaders stood up to the test and quickly sorted out the matter.

Like the Centre needs to plan, the states too have to be given the opportunity to plan for the Vaccination Program.

42 Lakhs / month should it not be devided in 4 (Weeks ) and sent weekly 10 Lkhs + . Instead only half is bein sent in the first week. Another 36.5 doses are to be received.

T.N. to MAINTAIN A DECENT INVENTORY, AND TO PROTECT THE CITIZENS SHARE SHOILD BE DESPATHED IN TIME.

Still many are hesitant to vaccine. Secondly the distribution is not based on studies/ Requirements. Both needs to be tightened more
You are not aware of another problem. Most people in TN are avoiding taking vaccine. I am no supporter of any government State or Centre... In front of my house last week there were two camps, but hardly 100 people turned up. That's Thillai Ganga Nagar, 2nd Main Road. Many I spoke to (iam a volunteer) were afraid of the reactions, and the alleged alcohol content which is a strict no no for them thinking as they did that they would become "tipsy". The ladies getting reactions ranging from headaches, tiredness, and sometimes nausea drew the others way. Despite many camps on other streets, including the main artery road to Nanganallur, the same has been observed. more
Whe the Vaccination started after the Front line workers and the health care workers in January is was normal. But when it started fro the selected age group many hesitated as one of the Vaccine (Covaxine ) had not gone through the 3rd phase of trials . It looked as though the vaccines were offered as trial . That was deep in the minds of people. When was that in February. Then Elections were there and a lull period of 4 weeks waiting for the results ; that was the period there was no elected Government to make decision.

Now the new elected government had come and taken charge and the Scenario of the 2nd wave was realized by all after witnesing the Rapid spread (transmissibility ) and the number of alarming Death cases . It has not come below 400 as per yesterdays report.

Is it wrong to ask for the rightful share from the time T.N. was leading in India reporting the Fresh new cases every daY? more
And the state should ensure that the distribution of vaccine is properly done. On the note of elections, there are more elections coming up in the next few months in UP and other states. Let us hope the political class behaves themselves responsibly by not conducting rallies and crowding. The consequence of this we have seen where it is the common person who bears the brunt of the pandemic because of the irresponsible behaviour of the politicians. more
