Festival Spending 2024

LocalCircles has put out this report on its website that says Urban India will spend $22 billion this festive season.
https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/festival-spending-survey-2024

My question is overall India spend $39 billion in festive season 2019. This year even if rural India spends $6-8 billion that still makes is $30 billion.

Thats 30% decline in 5 years. That should be concerning to the Govt. Has LC manager raised this concern to PM or his cabinet members?

We are not in good shape if you take out the surge of stock market. more

all the spending goes to rural market , peoples. Hindi Festival meant for that. It is Economical Wheel under the name of Festivals to role the money to bottom level peoples. Highly Qualified peoples , Hindians dosen't understand the Concept of this. Only Shouting on social media without having study of Hindu Culture & knowledge. These festive season teaches peoples Learn , work & earn. No freebies. more
Madam I think we the common citizens can focus on celebrating the festivals rather than juggling with the “Reports” and “Figures” unless someone is concerned about the volume of business because festivals have been prime and business secondary, however the stays is changed upside down, now the business in everything has been becoming Prime and everything else is incidental. more
Make the Caluculus. The spend is high more
Job opportunities are shrinking due to no industrial growth. China, Japan etc are also experiencing pains. IITs n IIMs placements are below expectations. Only govt employees n pensioners remain unaffected and maintaining steady flow of income. more
