FESTIVALS & SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, UNCONTROLLABLE RAIL RUSH : HOW TO TIDE OVER .

We have been witnessing very heavy & uncontrollable rush during vacations of Educational Institutions particularly in Trains all over India. Some of us have also suffered in many ways , just 2 for example ,

* the Legitimate ticket holders of the reserved sleeper or sitting compartments , including A/C compartments ,being at the mercy of the Gate crashers / ones Tipping Railmen.

* WAITLISTED, R.A.C. TICKETS BOUGHT 60 DAYS AHEAD WITH FOND HOPE OF GETTING CONFIRMED TO TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN OR ELDERS .

We have seen Railways ADVERTISING JUST BEFORE THE FESTIVALS & SCHOOL HOLIDAYS for several years as you see below . Why can't they plan now with the Holiday list in hand:

cr to run 48 diwali / puja festival special trains
https://cr.indianrailways.gov.in/view_detail.jsp?lang=0&dcd=5100... in eeach zonal Railwys in News Papers.

YEAR AFTER YEAR IT SEEMS TO BE A MAIDEN EXPERIENCE TO THE RAIL BOSSES.

So Dear Mr. Minister ,

will you kindly advice the highly qualified and accomplished the Railway Board Members and Zonal Rail heads . Particularly after Restructuring the Railway Board , & merger as IRMS[Indian Railway Management Services] . And also upgrading them to Secretary level.

JUST 2 REQUESTS SIR , IF RAILMEN FOLLOW, YOUR DEPARTMENT WILL BE THE BEST IN THE WORLD .

# Take a leaf or 2 out from the past records , how many extra trains were generated during the rush and ultra rush seasons , HOW EFFECTIVE IT WAS IN SERVING THE RAIL PASSENGERS/ CUSTOMERS. - LET IT BE A LESSON TO PLAN FOR THIS YEAR 2020 .

# The holiday list is attached , and all know the summer and other School vacations . If they dont know , let the Zonal managers get from the Educations Deparment.

Yes INDIAN RAILWYS IS NOT THE BEST IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW . I KNOW YOU ARE STRIVING TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN.

A humble question , WILL YOU MOTIVATE THE RAIL BABUS AND MEN TO MAKE IT A GOAL IN 2020 at least [After 165 Years and the former mis rules ]
- All the very best . Jai Hind. more

Government should introduce more trains to meet the rush due to holidays more
Unfortunately the rail planners are not rail travelers. Do not take timely feedback with a fear that there may be negative feed back. simply renew the earlier plans. more
Very rightly said . Nor do they bother to take a look at the Remarks, suggestions and complaints . more
the work culture has to be improved. the railways employees should develop a culture to realize the hardships of the commuters and find ways to solve that. there is lot of unemployed hands, some incentive can be shared by the railways administration and with a little planning the problem can be solved easily. there should be will to do . more
Every plans will be fail since the ;and is limited and tracks are limited and it will be limited but population is unlimited and it keeps on increasing with the time. I agree with mr. Jaykumar daniel suggestion but government has to implement the population control bill and must make it a law asap. more
No doubt middle class follows 2 norm . But the ones who arent following like the poor and marginalized should be focussed . more
Holiday Trains are just for the name sake and hardly serve the purpose for which they are run. As pointed out by Mr Ranjit Biswas such tains do not run in time and have priority even lower than the goods train. At the halting stations passangers don't get the facilities that are available to regular trains passengers. more
