FEW Facts..

When it comes to crime our capiral also renamed as 'Crime Capital' has some news... I would not say good as to me any crime is a crime and slight reduction in same does not mean anything if we all feel secure inside more

Surely responsible citizens are one of the important pillars of a law abiding & peaceful society. But a large majority of Delhi's citizens themselves derive pleasure in breaking laws & rules and getting aggressive if anyone objects or counsels them. My personal experience has been that whenever I have tried to object or request such citizens they have reacted almost violently every time. more
Mr Satyarth, you have hit the bull's eye and I fully agree with you. Untill we as sensetive and resoinsible citizens do not do our bit of job, no Police or any other Govt. agency can help. more
Crime in Delhi: Please list the kind of crime we are talking about? Corrective actions need reactive steps and they differ for different kind of crimes. Safety and security: Proactive action is required. This also demands self discipline and social awareness. No need to depend on police, lawyers, judges or politicians. Friends! do not blame the system. We still are responsible and accountable for many of these. List the areas and we can find a very assured solution to much of these issues. The point is: Are we ready to do our bit? more
Of course crime in Delhi is a big issue what with criminals increasingly losing fear of police & law, as evident from frequent attacks on police staff. But an equally disturbing development has been that common citizen in Delhi also flouts laws & regulations with impunity & muscularity, and this has been allowed to become an epidemic by vote bank politics and lax enforcement.. more
Vinay Ji.....After staying in Delhi for 60 years we are still waiting for that wonderful "SHAAM" in our life. The whole system revolves around Police, Politicians, so called learned Lawyers & Judges, multiple caste-ism, bureaucracy and most of all the VOTE BANK. Citizen of India are not afraid of law of India and even if one is arrested there are numerous lawyers who can get him or her out off the case in-spite of large number of witness and they too become hostile after few years for sake of money. Only 20% of the loyal citizens of India are law abiding 80% are least bothered of the law. 20% are afraid of 'KHAKI UNIFORM" 80% keep them for their illegal activities. We can share lot of good ideas on safety and security but how to implement them in view of the above??????????????? more
