Fighting corruption at block level
I am being asked for bribe by Block Karamchari for doing mutation of land. CO also involved with him. What to do in such a situation ? more

Dear Sri Rahul Ranjan, We, my wife & her sister faced the same problem in Tuni mandal of East Godavari District of corruption ridden Andhra Pradesh. Irrespective which party ( Congress or it's off-shoots or Telugu Desam and their co-harts ) come to governance, the story is same. The `Registration Dept., Revenue Dept. Municipal Administration Dept., Transport Dept. and Police Dept. have organised loot. Nothing happens even if you take it higher up as most of IAS officers except just recruited are corrupt. It takes a while for them to adopt themselves to fit into the system. If the Officer-in-charge is one promoted from ranks or conferred IAS, the situation is even worse as they simply indulge in loot. The saving grace is awakening of Anti-corruption Bureau that too if you land in good hands. After all, they are also policemen habituated to corruption as policemen routinely collect money from poor people for offences either committed or threatened and the share reaches every one by evening or whatever period stipulated. However, IPS officers by themselves are not known to indulge in petty corruption and receiving ill gotten money through lower channels is routine for them. 2. We did succeed in obtaining the Patta Pass-book after 2 years of continuous follow-up in 2015 Dec. (for document registered in 2013) without paying any amount. Please persist, you will succeed. Sorry, nothing can be done. They are grass root corrupt people and it is very difficult to eradicate them unless emergency like situation comes. more

We just can't accept Corruption as a way of Life I agree that it ingrained in our for last 70 years but we will have fight it ourselves for future generation and help Modiji for the same. more
