All bullshit, when I have to construct my house, all law & order should be enforced. There are plenty of agencies to stop the construction and charge the booty, but there is no support from any side. Getting approval for sanction of valid building plan is not even easy, there also one need to feed lakhs of rupees to MCD bastards. more
MCD should be merged in NDMC. All counselor seats should be resolved & the money spent on their funds, salaries, expenses etc. should be transferred to NDMC for smooth functioning. more

There is a need for law-makers to be strict end enforce rules so that illegality is under control. For Delhi, it is the MCD that needs to be pro-active. There are many basements where ladies beauty parlours and many other establishments are running which are not even registered; have no legal license to run nor they pay any annual charges for basement establishment/shop. Even many of these don't pay property tax and water bills. No weekly off for such establishments and earning huge money without filing IT returns / GST for the service being run. One needs to end corruption and needs to be make discipline. To earn for livelihood one can run shop / establishment - no issue but they need to pay taxes to Government. These establishments should have some responsibility to pay tax. Directive from top and periodical checks by law-makers can improve it and it will be better to involve RWAs for the same. There should be no accommodation for law breakers. more
