Filing Date not getting extended

The Goods and Services taxpayers are advised to ignore the fake notification regarding the extension of date doing the rounds on social media, the Ministry of Finance clarified on Wednesday, adding that the last date for filing of return in form GSTR-1 remains January 10, 2018.

“The last date for filing of return in FORM GSTR-1, for different classes of taxpayers for the relevant periods remains January 10, 2018. There has been no further extension of date for filing return in FORM GSTR-1,” the Finance Ministry said in a statement. more  

There's never been a problem that has not been solved through intelligent communication. Getting heated up and bombarding blames on others cannot be the right path to tread. Both government and public are going through a "learning process". And, especially those who hide themselves behind ulterior motives, must be bold enough to show understanding and patience, thereby helping the reform-process, which can only be good for them as well as for the country. more  
GST Website itself is blunder of creation, I dont understand India's top IT company not able to fix the issues, how come our very intelligent founder gives comment about this, I never seen commenting about it only sulking about company's growth !! GST Council and finance ministry should hold responsible GST web developer and innocent business are suffering between two !! more  
The ministry is going mad, Modiji must intervene and take right action now, A very good PM surrounded by idiotic ministry, instead of correcting the technological glitches they are bended upon not extending the last date of filling totally insane decision. more
