Filty tracks
Once I happen to visit Vadodara station in the morning hours of 8am. I was shocked to see that our rail tracks are so filthy with the muck, that even unknowingly if you gaze there you start vomiting, and if a wave of air blows you need to close your nose. I don't know what some foreigners who also were standing there must be thinking about the same. more

the excessive cost of booking tickets over internet by IRCTC is a huge detterent fro people . Only if extra service service charges are reduced , it will save a lot of costly man-hours in days of manpower crisis of Indian Railways as more & more will be motivated to use IRCTC FOR BOOKING TICKETS . ALL AROUND THE GLOBE PAPERLESS TICKETING & ELECTRONIC TICKETING IS FA MORE CHEAPER & SO POPULAR THAN COUNTER TICKETING more

Actually, I'm happy to say that Katpadi railway station in Vellore, Tamil Nadu is remarkably clean. Not just hte platform but the tracks too. THe platform is spotless, people in uniforms regularly cleaning it. Visakhapatnam tracks however, is another story. In terrible terrible condition - human feces also on the track - it's very bad.. more

Sadly,Same story in every part of India.Majority of INDIANS have slightest of civic sense as they have been brought up with "sab chalta hai" attitude.Children learn from parents,onus on all parents of INDIA to inculcate morals,desh bhakti and civic sense in their children, if this country has to be saved ! more
