FIND OUT THE VIEWS OF TUTICORIN PEOPLE ON STERLITE

When the enquiry panel visited Sterlite unit in Tutiorin those who want closure of the unit and those who want the unit to be operated submitted their views to the enquiry committee. Media report say that the opponents of Sterlie abused the supporters of Sterlite and tried to push them away.

There are around three lakh people in Tuticorin and the enquiry commission should know their views by conducting a secret poll amongst people. The fate of massive project like Sterlite should not be decided on the basis street protests and demonstrations.

Yes. Mr.Venkataraman Sir, Final decision can be taken after conducting secret poll with Turicorin people. Other wise politicians will interfere between the public. more
The comonners living there should be asked and not the same set of people. It is desirable to conduct secret poll duly writing Aadhaar and or Voter ID, to prevent bogus numbers. Sterlite has been the life for many locals at tuticorin. more
Any new system, new Project, new law&order , new proposal&Suggestion , change from existing customs & Practices, will have both plus and minus merits. A unbiased team should analyse and put up the facts in public for the knowledge of the people. India is a fast growing country and certainly some of the countries are not liking it and with the support of vested interest people & using money power they want to stop the progress of this country. We are all very well aware in the past in name of language using the youngsters a party have come to power and still ruling. The country's growth is in the hands of younger generation and the younger generation is dynamic wise, brave, courageous , knowledgeable, so my humble request is all of you join together as one group and throw out the vested interest people disturbing the development of the nation. Let us accept our defeat and not simply blame the politics and politicians. JAI HIND more
