Fire in Vandebharat Bhopal - Delhi
Battery box of Rani Kamlapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin Vande Bharat Express train caught fire in MP's Sagar district on Monday morning. Fire was extinguished, battery box of C-14 coach isolated safely.
Such incidents never happened in 30 year running of Shatabdi and Rajdhani. What does VB train have that these older trains didn’t? more

we have to wait for improvements with lessons, the building of project is from multiple agencies including software, and application programmers. I am sure they will not repeat as this technology is of new era and customization may require based on end user problems. more

Every company involved in manufacturing VB trains (govt/ private) is working under tremendous cost pressure. They are working on squeezed timelines and overlooking passenger safety. Another focus is reduction in weight which is making these trains weaker and prone to more damage than the our earlier Shatabadi / Rajdhani trains. more

In 30 years trains every thing is mechanial/manual. In VB many services are electrical/ electronic and automatic. As such, this type of problem is keep on taking place in some trains. more

Each of the Vande Bharat coach is powered. I think that may be the issue. It is quite different from other trains. more
