In developed countries, only permission is given for any establishment and even housing after they comply with all the stipulated conditions. Only in our country you will find things operate without minimum safety factor and when hell is raised, the authorities come out with flimsy excuses that the establishment was illegal and so on. At the same time all through the years every one of the statutory body come to collect their taxes and dues without any compunction. This system should be first abolished and permission given only after every existing law is complied with. Bye the way, today we find fires in the top floors of many high rise buildings and the fire authorities have even difficulty to approach the same due to congestive roads and approach. Can anybody say the authorities were not aware of the hazards before granting permission. Everybody makes tons of money in deals and raise their hands up when any unforeseen situation arises. Sad commentary indeed. more
