Firecracker sale in Noida
NGT has suspended all firecrackers sale in Delhi and neighbouring towns. Can the DM or his staff please confirm if the same has been done in Noida? Would be a great thing... more

I think SC must not have banned the crackers sale in NCR. Diwali comes once in year and it is festival of happiness and joy. When whole of the year nothing is done to reduce pollution, then why to target Diwali?. Did any of us has ever reduced the use of cars?. NO and neither there are any efforts from SC AND Govt. to reduce pollution. Trucks are so polluted and GOVT. could even trucks are within their pollution limit. What to expect any special initiatives. more

I think we all not understand view of Supreme court . indian insutries only 3 thousand crore (value ) make by crackers. but china make 7 thousand crore crack for india sale. everyone know quality of chiness goods. Govern will be not banned because it is conditional agreement. if people don't purchase then we safe our environment and economic also. pleas understand and explain to people . don't connect with religious. more

Today Supreme Court has given its ruling regarding fire-crackers. Now sale of fire-crackers in NCR banned till 1st of Nov.2017. So by this we can hope this Diwali pollution level will not higher than what it was earlier. more

It would be really good if the sale of Fire crackers are banned in NOIDA also. I would also request the DM to ban bursting crackers in NOIDA. It should in all sincerity impose heavy fines if ANYBODY violates the ban and also bursting crackers. No crackers should be burst after 10PM in any case ( Hon'ble SC has not banned bursting of crackers so far) more
