Firecrackers banned but enforce how

Delhi environment minister says Complete ban on production, storage, sale and use of firecrackers till Jan 1, 2023. But same story repeats each year because the enforcement is zilch.

Can this august circle please suggest how Delhi can on ground ensure that firecrackers dont come in from UP and Haryana?

Then lets tell Delhi Govt what to do because they will fail otherwise. more

Hope you guys also going on Europe's trip on this new year to stop fire work show which they organize to celebrate New year.... Did you ask in your family when you were kid how they use to celebrate diwali.... Sitting in house and cursing everyone for busting crackers.... Sitting in ac room and office and then talking about global warming... U guys don't have any rights still you start from your our homes. Stop using ac cars etc before telling and sending these stupid suggestions.. more
I agree with you in toto. Why all the restriction during Hindi festivals? more
well said, i m fully agree with your thoughts more
Why don't u please stand at these borders to stop or u go to Mr Kejriwal and tell him to stop everything... By the way we dint salee your msg on bakrid etc... Were you sleeping at that time more
Now you want to blame it on firecracker production in neighboring states, except Punjab ! And stubble burning is no longer a issue as they have same politicians ruling there as well. Nice narrative in the making more
Delhi Government will fail anyway. However what is important is that Both UP Government, Haryana Government, Punjab Government and Rajasthan Government should should ban the movement and sale of Fire crackers in their respective states. With a fine of minimum Rs. 1 Lakh for those who violate the rules. more
Why only fire crackers, why not  population, why not vehicles exhaust, why not cigarette/bidi smoke why not industrial polution, why not polution from burning of residue from agricultural and garbage and why not waste from slaughter of animals.  Those raising such issues are only political activist and nothing more. They must be condemned. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android On Wed, Sep 7, 2022 at 12:07 PM, Shivani Kapoor wrote: more
