FIRST PRIVATE TRAIN ROLLS OUT. HOPE THAT WILL BE TO END ALL THE WOES OF THE RAIL PASSENGERS :

The expectations of Rail passengers are positive and looking forward to all the nuisence that is beeing experienced by them. There is no need again to list the problems that we listed all these years in the circle .

* But the Rates are 33 % higher ,
* The train takes more time than the Shatabdi in the same route though 3 stops less .

Okay let it be for the higher Echelons among us the travellers . But let it not be at the cost of the rest of the passengers traveling in other trains .
ALL TRAINS SHOULD MAINTAIN TIME AND DROP PASSENGERS PUNCTUALLY AS MANY TRAVEL WITH APPOINTMENTS , FUNCTIONS , INTERVIEWS , EXAMINATIONS .

All the very best railways and always keep your Customers Satisfied . more

It is a good step to save and to do justice to common man.Receiving heavy protected salary and other benefits the officials have been threatening govt with strike and all as is being done by Banks. No protection should be given for ineffective performance and corruption at any govt undertaking. When there are so many unemployed persons giving huge compensation at loss making undertakings to be stopped more
It is too early to comment. We may have lot of expectations but need to wait and see keeping in mind our past experience with private companies! As far as fare is concerned, it appears to be more than existing air fares and if such is the case, people will never prefer for a riding of these trains where air services are available. Therefore, we should not be surprised if the operators concerned come to terms when their trains start running with empty coaches, which should not take much time. However, the government must not give free hands to the private operators as far as fare, passengers safety, compensation etc. are concerned. more

With the introduction of private players, the government organisations will fall like house of Cards. We have seen road transport, telephone, airlines, School and hospitals etc. Now let us see the Railway. more
Which sector has flourished under private enterprise in INDIA? The only one which has grown is the NPAs of the banks. Privatisation of support staff in train running has created hundreds of beggars and off course one mercedes rider. For me it gives me immense pain when I see the cleaning/AC ATTENDANTS etc line up with their palms outstretched. more
