Fixing private hospital accountability

Many of you participated in the recent LocalCircles polls on fixing accountability at private hospitals and their association with Doctors so the patients interest becomes the top priority for all.

Below is the link to the full report we have issued to general media and attached is a summary graphic

We urge all members to share it or the individual poll results via whatsapp, social networks, emails as well as with the law makers so via National Medical Commission and other agencies these asks can be fulfilled there by making healthcare transparent, better and affordable in India.

Govt. must take care of medical requirements of tax paying / already paid citizens like in all developed countries - specially for aged senior citizens. more
pvt hospitals are given land and licence to do business, so it very obvious they are doing business..the govt should feel and understand that health care is a basic need of human being, so it has to be done with a perspective of care. its very difficult to apply restriction on pvt hospital system as they vl find alternate way to loot. the only way is to create alternatives by improving govt hospitals. else we will keep discussing these issues ever more
Why every body wants to see Private hospitals to take take of medical needs of poor. Why not our Government? Why can't Government make hospitals as good as Fortis in each and every district. Not one but 3 or 4 of that standard. Dream if I can get same, if not better facility @ 20% of the rate of Fortis. Why should I go Fortics? Once I went to Hindu Rao hospital I was surprised to see flies all over. My mind set - come what may - I will take my wife to Max only. Who is responsible - Max or The Delhi Administration - I wonder! The problem - housing, medical, education, infrastructure, water, roads, power, agriculture, sanitation all due to one reason - the VERY POOR DELIVERY SYSTEM. You improve the delivery system - all the problems will disappear from the society. But as long as you can not do - please let the rich or the super rich live their natural life at least. Why they should also suffer because of 90% poor of India? more
