Flight Suspension Recommendation

I am using my mothers account of LocalCircles to write this post as I could not stop myself after seeing this survey to suspend flights from/to many countries because of new mutants.

Some of us study abroad or are getting ready to go abroad to join our colleges. I understand Govt listens to your recommendations regularly and acts many times and so each one should be well thought through.

Have you thought about the students who cant go to college because flights are suspended? Please be considerate towards the same and there should be an exception to that if such a flight ban is introduced.

Regards!

Dear Ms. Tanya Kukreja, Irrespective of what the Citizens, in general and Local circles, in particular, say, the Govt. of the Day is responsive to the needs of the time (different from needs of limited people) and to my knowledge, you will not be put to any inconvenience. Best of luck. more
This is an exceptional case and restraint is advised. Government will relax the norms, once the condition improves. more
Exceptions can't make rules. One exception can follow many other too ask for the same. Not only students but many others have suffered so much so that people were not able to attend the last rights of their near and dear. Govt. decision was in National interest and not in individual interest. more
Opening flights for students going abroad to study is absolutely okay, as the student receiving countries do their due diligence in checking the virus in the immigrant student. Also, let there be competition among nations attracting the best educated minds among the students. For too long India has kept schools and colleges shut, when following distancing protocols, these institutions could have reopened. At least the freedom or the social requirements within democracy, thereof prompting allowing students' flights. more
LocalCircles were right in Feb 2020 and again in March 2021. How can the country compromise safety of billions for a few 100,000 who want to study abroad. Pls think again Tanya more
When you live your studies matter. When you let others live then your studies matter. I support the Government's decision. more
