Flipkart fooling and looting customers

Booked the order with Flipkart on 24th March 2020 for Product - Realme C3 mobile phone. The last product location updated was for Bhivandi location on 5th May 2020 and there was no status change till the end. The delay in product delivery due to lockdown restriction can be accepted. Even after lockdown was opened up and the delivery of non essential items resumed the product was not delivered.
On 1st July 2020 received a notification from Flipkart stating that order has been cancelled and if i still need the delivery of product I should book it again.
At the time when order was booked the product cost was 7999 Rupees. But now due to increase in GST and price fluctuations the same product cost has gone upto 10000 Rupees on Flipkart website itself. Hence booking another order clearly means that I'll have to pay more money from my pocket which is not possible for me.
Multiple dates were given for product delivery and even after giving multiple dates the product was not delivered.

As per the call that I had received from Flipkart team on 28th June 2020, I was asked if I am interested in cancelling the order. I had mentioned out that I am not interested in canceling the order. Inspite of that my order was cancelled.
On the same call I suggested Flipkart team to provide me option to change the shipping address to another address location where as per their records the delivery of non-essential items are allowed. But Flipkart support team refused to do so saying its not possible after product shipment.

The booking amount of the product has been credited back in my account on 3rd July 2020.

After keeping the customer waiting for more than 3 months the order has been cancelled which is completely not acceptable.

Such action from Flipkart denotes that they have used customers money for three months and then cancelled the order and returned the booking amount. It also denotes that customer is of least importance to Flipkart. This is a kind of fraudulent action it seems to be carried out by the company that when market value price of product increases they cancel the product themselves in order to gain higher profit margins.

I had trusted and relied on Flipkart for the product whereas I could have booked the same product from other sources at the time of booking. Hence it is Flipkart's responsibility to deliver the product in same price and in acceptable timeframe.
did raise ticket for this with Flipkart support team but my ticket was closed which has been reopened by me. When spoke to customer care executive, I am being told that the order was cancelled by Seller. more

Had Flipkart done same thing if it was in U S A or Europe?Never. This shows how lax our rules are? They are pro rich companies and anti towards customer. This needs introspection by concerned agencies. more
Sir, our rules should be sufficient may be better than USA.. their citizens do not accept any deficiency . Problem is within us as we mostly keep quiet. more
Many have faced similar situation and it is with almost every e-commerce company, Good luck to online buyers who do not wish to step out of their home. I always prefer purchasing from brick & wall store, at least I can check and have a feel of what I am buying and receive it as soon as I pay for it more
Even though Flipkart is a reputed company, still many complaints are raised, some may be genuine, but it is not expected. more
I have faced this and since I have experienced it I am sure other complains are also genuine. Yes it is possible that some may be false but its probablity seems to be low as type of issues mentioned by others that I have checked portray same type of response from Flipkart team. more
Flipkart is now in firangi hands. This is well expected. more
