We are under the impression that Economy is driven by the Government. Economy is driven by the people. Government policies have a major effect, no doubt, such as phasing out oil cars by 2030. Indians must innovate. We are now blindly following the West or Japan. The skill is available, but generally the innovator is hardly taken notice of and encouraged. Rich Corporates and rich businessmen must identify talents among the citizens of this Country, encourage them and improve upon it. INSPIRE, INNOVATE, INVEST must be the Motto. In business we ape the west, generally have an inferiority complex and there is lot of leg-pulling. All these must change. more
Seems like NDA is not having good FM like UPA had Mr. Manmohan Singh. NDA government needs to audit their selected MLA and appoint the best minister as FM since it is a very critical department and unstable decision will have a long lasting impact on indian diversify economy. more
What FM has announced is stimulus but what is needed is tax reforms. Direct tax code must be revamped intoto as it was enacted 58 years back and gone through numerous amendments. Tax structure needs to be rationalised and simplified by which tax evasion is arrested. Everyone is brought into tax net. So the return filing. There will be no inspector Raj and hence no harrassment. Same way, GST must have 2 tax slabs covering every items. Returns are simplified. Citizens can walk with their head high. more
It shows that government is genuinely concerned about difficulties experienced by various stake holders and is actively acting in a pro active manner taking active feed backs from the general public and the affected members of the local populace.- more
These are good rectification measures by FM. However, these are reactionary. Something has gone wrong ( Bank fraud=NPA, etc) so FM is acting. FM must see how economy is back on growth path taking care of the Auto Industry which has increased unemployment (one method could be reduction of retirement age) in recent months. more
