FOCUSING ON HOTSPOTS , CASES TRACED TO "SINGLE SOURCE EVENTS" WHERE LARGE NUMBERS HAD GATHERED
TO BE UNDER THE SCANNER :
The Tamilnadu returnees from the ’Single Source Event’ which hosted thousands in Delhi had been followed meticulously by the Tamilnadu health Dept. That alone resulted in taking 1,630 Samples from the delegates and others who had contacted with them . 636 tested positive so far . Adding another 54 from foreign travel etc. the total cases reported yesterday was 690 in T.N. The trail is seen in other southern states also . Imagine the magnitude all over India . This had happened before the Lockdown / curfew.
Karnataka high court said the government should come down heavily on breach of lock down conditions and banning all kinds of religious congregation and closure of all worship places . Bangalore Police have not granted any permission for religious congregation for the Karaga Festival.
THIS SHOULD BE AN EYE OPENER FOR ALL FAITHS INVITING HUGE GATHERINGS IN THIS PERIOD. more

As per reports, various states are now engaged in identifying the hot spots and completely cealing their boundaries to contain the spreading of the virus outside. UP government have already identified few such spots and initated necessary steps to isolate them. Other states are also in the process. However, had the central government engaged its machinery for identifying the hot spots all over the nation without loss of time and initiating all necessary action to isolate them would usher the containment of the virus to a large extent. more

In the first instance no such gathering be allowed at any cost. And despite that if any such gathering is organised there should be examplary punishment to organisers and the participants both. more

It is good that HC came down on the government. The government had allowed a hindu religious event to be held in Bangalore. There should be no quarter for any religious gathering more

There were many other events after the 14/15 when the said confreence was over . Particularly Tirupathy Thirumala event closed only on 19th Mach . we know the type of crowd that longs for Dharshan wating hours together in Q . Here it may be huge congregation at the waiting level and no one is allowed for dharshan more than a few swconds . One is permission to hold big congregations if it is NEW PRACTICE . THIS EVEN HAS BEEN GOING FOR YEARS . So as a regular routine woule have allowed . Delhi sarkar wouldnt have realized the danger in early marchas the COVID 19 cases were reported sporadically in the country . But W.H.O. had given guidelines on social distancing ,w ashing hands , wearing masks the 3 basic needs in prevention. more
