For districts with new COVID-19 cases after April 15th, how should the Government of India go about lockdown after May 03rd?

Four days Complete lockdown in Chennai, Madurai and Coimbatore Corporations from 6 am on April 26 to 9 pm on April 29.
Three day Complete lockdown in Salem and Tiruppur Corporations from 6 am on Apr 26 to 9 pm on Apr 28

Everyone please do vote on this poll below. I think Chennai lockdown should go till May end or atleast till Eid to contain this virus. more

Government should continue the lock down, since the daily report shows some increase every day more
T.N. has started detecting and treating the caes very early . It is praisworthy the way the Health Dept . went about detecting the 'Single source event ' and tracing the meticulously , that making the cases no to shoot up . The daily new cases above 75 has touched 10 times till 23rd April .Mostly other days reporting less than 50 and 40 cases. The Treated discharged cases are 752 against the Active cases of 946 , the gap is closing in Kerala . T.N.Government has come out with the new and selected stringest Lockdown as the Team of Advisers would have observed some aspects like asymptomatic persons transmitting the disease, some relapse cases, lack of adequate test kits and the questiobla quality of the R. - PCR test kits . Despite all such efforts , look at the irresponsible people who have been taught a good lesson in the Video that went viral. Appreciate the T.N.Police in not only intimidating the offenders , but also giving firm lessons for them and good guidelines to the general public. SO THE BEST IS TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE HILT . AND NOT GO ABOUT LIKE SO MANY IIRRESPONSIBLE ONES THAT IS HOW WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO BETTER DAYS AFTER MAY 2020. Mr. Natarajan K has covered all the points. more
Missed the following point. The governments should tell people clearly that the relaxation is in their interests only and request them to follow the guidelines strictly. The government will not spend anymore money for the lapses on the part of the public and they only have to meet their medical expenses themselves. Better be careful. more
My suggestion for lockdown is as follows: - Lift the lockdown for a week from May 03, maintaining the strict regulations. That will allow some movement for the people who were struck all these days, not able to attend many essential work & commitments as well as go back to their places or return back from there. - From 10th May impose the lockdown strictly until May end. The number of days can be as decided by the centre / states. - Railways and Buses to operate within the state for a week from May 03. Only 50% of seats to be allowed with one seat in between left free. For crossover, the two neighbouring district collectors of adjoining states to discuss and organize as possible. - For travels beyond 800 km air travel can be allowed during the relaxation period. Seats gaps to be maintained. - Face guard, hand gloves, etc., to be strictly adhered to in all the above cases. - While relaxing, both centre & state should ell people in clear terms that safe distancing should be maintained. If noticed, punishments to continue. - No loitering in public. If noticed, punishments to continue. - All religious places / worship to be kept closed with daily Pooja & Rituals allowed by the Priests, Imams, Pastors, etc., internally. Same regulations for Sikh, Parsi, Jain, Buddhist, and all religions. No mass gathering / processions internally or outside to be allowed, whatever may be the religious requirement. - Doctors and hospitals should be open to public for attending all cases to ensure that citizens do not suffer due to other ailments, which had been neglected in the last one month. - In other words, it is a continuation of lockdown with some relaxations to be practical & helpful to the citizens as an interim relief. It is possible, whatever the governments do, the oppositions / political parties will cry foul and find fault. They are not contributing positively, as observed. The governments should explain everything in detail to convince the public and convey the same through all media. more
In view of the New Covid 19 the Government has taken a good step to close it for some time. They should take strict action of arrest and punishment for violators including those who spread lies and misguide the People. This should include Politicians over looking the forth coming elections. Infact the Media being owned by Political parties should be firmly told that showing hunger population etc is OK. But what action they have TAKEN TO GET THEM FOOD. iF THIS IS NOT DONE BAN THE MEDIA. Aim should be to ensure no one goes hungry without food and water. This is the right time the census is done on other state Labour force, state owned migration workers etc and their work and living so that this is helpful for future more
