Heavy Mumbai rains to continue, traffic chaos and water logging expected
Mumbai rains have once again picked up pace with the Santa Cruz observatory witnessing over 50 mm of rainfall in the last nine hours. The suburbs have been seeing even heavier showers, continuing since morning hours.
Along with rains, lightning strikes are also making their appearances. Now, Mumbai rains are all set to intensify further resulting in traffic chaos and water logging in many parts. This will cause office commuters trouble in reaching their workplaces.
Heavy to very heavy rains will be seen on both September 19 and 20. This will only wreak havoc over the city further, bringing life to a standstill. more

Preparedness for rain is very poor by Municipalities of Mumbai and nearby region.Drains are not cleaned properly.Even if it is cleaned the Kachara is left on the road for months together and eventually it falls back in gutters.Quality of Roads is very poor and it can not withstand even one rainy season.Corruption in Municipalities is very common and rampant. more

Seems, your post is incomplete. Can you be more precise. Rain fury continues,even at the fag end of the season. Cyclonic and depression is causing heavy rain prediction. Rain should pour in draught hit districts via. Lathur osmanabad,need,parvati,marathawada regions. more
