Fraud at PSU banks

I suggest every member read this and attached graphic and then discuss how are the ways fraud is done by public sector banks and vote on polls

On an average, at least one banker is caught and punished for involvement in fraud every four hours, an analysis of data compiled by the Reserve Bank of India has revealed.
Between January 1, 2015 and March 31, 2017, as many as 5,200 officials of public sector banks have been punished for fraud.

"These employees have been convicted, awarded penalties, including dismissal from service," the RBI document states. The central bank is in the process of compiling the data for such cases from April 2017.

While 1,538 officials of the State Bank of India faced action for fraud, putting the bank on top of the chart, Indian Overseas Bank and Central Bank of India occupy the second and third place with 449 and 406 insiders, respectively, being found guilty. more

Figures of punishment are rather small with references to the volume and magnitude of money involved.Further, punishments given need to be shared with general public and notified in the related branch office. A research team should further probe whether such kind of punishments are good enough as effective deterrent to contain corruption in the institution and if yes,to what extent. more
Punishments and imprisonments in Financial and Social Crimes were and are very minute with too many exemptions AND THERE IS NEED TO BE REFORMED TOTALLY . more
Govt. sponsored schemes are responsible for this . Only application of undeserved and after bribe application are forwarded by Govt. agencies. Bankers are forced to acheive targets and also get involved in corruption more
Well done. ANY INVESTIGATING or GOVERNING AUTHORITIES ARE LOOKING FOR THIS?????????????????????????????????? more
