It's not because people have become more conscious of their faith.
It's because of huge rush and more people are using freebies offered by politicians
Have politicians become more religious?
I have been to Vrindavan during past years and I visited recently and I was surprised to see lots of people holding little kids,one on each shoulder and another one tied to the belly..3 kids and 1 adult and no place to move out in case of calamities to any one of them.
I am a proud Hindu ๐ and believe in visiting religious places but only after fulfilling my worldly duties assigned to me by higher powers up there

True. Some sort of crowd discipline should be maintained even at the Religious places. There has to be piety around the Gods Abodes. Lot of efforts should be taken by the organizers in Q management, places to rest, sit, and wash rooms etc. more

At Vrindavan people deserve crowd management through tokens, like it's for Darshan to darbar of Mata Vaishno Devi Maybe government is planning to make a corridor from Yamuna river to Banke Bihari Mandir ( as of now this holy place is spread around 1000 feet space surrounded by narrow lanes) Wishing for best route to get Darshan,traffic management and awareness in people about discipline l,cleanliness and maintenance of religious places incase they are keen to visit. At what age should religious tourism should be undertaken? After fulfilling heaven sent responsibilities!! more

Years ago there was a popular agency in South Delhi bringing girls from tribal areas and providing us as household helps and there was a long waiting list. My daughters were young and I used to get helpers who were not trained in basics of household chores. I had to teach them politely and so did working women like me. This agency had lots of conditions for us but none for the helpers. Every Sunday visit to their religious place was must. Sometimes rituals lasted till midnight and people like us had no say in religious matters. There used to be interactions between the opposite sex and we couldn't educate them regarding this. There used to be aftereffects of these interactions. I thought that it's bringing in bad impression on the developing minds of my own daughters and I stopped being dependant upon them unlike others who prefer to be blind to this type of freedom because having helpers carries oomph values Why are we bringing Hinduism as a culprit to be involved in religious matters?
