Freehold plots. A chaos in the Making
Things are bound to get worse. The Government would be pampering the investors by making the plots freehold and thereby causing 4 to 8 cars needing to be parked in plots as small as 160 square meters.
Imagine the chaos on internal roads of a sector. You will not be able to navigate on a 9 meter road and barely one car can barely pass through

Freehold is advantagious to the plot/house owner and may be trouble some to other residents who have no stake in the property. As far as parking and other problems are concern they have to be addressed by the concerned authorities. more

I don't see what FREEHOLD has to do with the parking problem. The parking problem is no doubt increasing. This can be solved only if the regulations ensure that at least 1 car parking space, per constructed floor is provided by the owner within his own plot. Meaning if the residence is 3 floors then at least 3 car parking spaces must be provided within the plot more

I have also previously read a post regarding freeholding of plots. May I request authorities to make compulsory ground floor for car parking for free holding of plots. I do not know whether it will be feasible or not. more
