FSS or Fat, Sugar, Salt Foods

Notoriously known as FSS , Fat, Sugar, Salt ; no doubt they are essential nutrients for our body when we consume conventional foods . When consumer falls for the attractive advertisements and offers like ‘‘EAT YOUR FILL PAY ONLY Rs. ------ “ , “ 3 ADULTS or 2 ADULT 2 CHILDREN UNLIMITED 25 VEG.& NON VEG . DISH WITH 4 BIRIYANI --- 6 DESERTS JUST FOR Rs. ------ “ are no doubt tempting not only the adults , but adults induct their kids also into it. These are the foods that have the BIG F,S,S. There is no need to eat all the type of food stuff like 25 dish on one day . Satiating for the tongue and mind ; but it has to go through a system that has a capacity . The immediate result digestive problems and in the long run obesity that leads to a hoard of diseases.
We do feel that there is a bit more of salt in junk foods along with sugar . These 2 gives a craving for more . Fatty , oily foods are always tasty . Keep a watch on FSS . Try and develop taste towards fresh leafy vegetable and Fruits. more

Kindly go through the quantity of Salt that may contain up to 1,000 Mg [1 gram ].Kindly go through the items mentioned there in ;chips, crackers, meats, fast foods, pasta, canned soups, and even salad dressing . Post is really valuable... Government of India has in September, 2014 created a separate ministry 'AYUSH" (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) which was under Health & Family Welfare earlier. Lot of promotional activities, especially for Yoga & Nature Cure System is being undertaken for this now. People all over the world are aware of the International Day of Yoga being observed on 21 June for the last four years and from 2018 onwards AYUSH Ministry has declared to observe 18th November as Nature Cure Day... I am closely associated with Yoga & Nature Cure Systems... Ashok Sharma & I jointly could organize yoga class for more 24,000 people on last Yoga Day and we organized one week long awareness programme on Nature Cure treatment and NC oriented life-style in November, 2018. I attended one full day seminar in Ambedkar International Center, Janpath, New Delhi on 18.11.2018, wherein Minister of AYUSH, Shri Shripad Yasso Naik was Chief Guest and more than one thousand delegates from all over India were present. ... Hopefully as per guidelines of AYUSH Ministry and with the cop-operation and help of many NGOs, a life-style change is bound to take place soon... more
True. The tasty oily, salty and too sweet foods are harmful to all. The buffet meals or fine dining and a host of new restaurants advertise in very clever way as though serving food cheaper but the customer end up in his trap to eat starters which are all tasty with more salt, sugar and oil. They serve you unlimited and go on to make you fill your stomach and you end up in not eating the main course and also eating junk by paying huge cost. Invariably to days kids favor these type of food and they order more to satisfy their taste bud, it is high time we recognise the harm and go away form these food. more
While it is true that a host of new restaurants 'with mesmerizing advertisements' are looring & trapping many, on the other side all over India, inclination towards natural foods, natural farming, etc. are also going at a high speed. I am working in a Petrochemicals Company in Vadodara, Gujarat, but I am associated (connected) with natural farming NGOs in Gujarat and Kerala... I am now thinking (only thinking) to buy some farm land in Kerala in around 1 1/2 years (by which time I will retire) and do natural farming there with mango, jack-fruit, coconut, drum-stick, papaya, banana, etc., for own consumption... Labour shortage and other cost of farming may not be a hindrance for me. My association with these NGOs would benefit me for this... more
