Sorry to say your point is very good but here FSSAI allows good bakery as Harvest Gold to function without a renewal of licences told by FSSAI and no action initiated.Even on sending pictures of fungus infected pavs sold by this company and verified by the company representatives no action is initiated,leave about banning,challaning or any kind of penalty imposed upon them .

Thanks to local circles, which enabled us to know there is one FSSAI and we are discussing these issues. earlier who knows there is one such agency. Ignorance is bliss. May be after few years we will see that the food stalls/shops/ hotels are really worried about food inspectors. We will have better tomorrow. let us hope. more

It is really unfortunate, however, we the citizen of India have less choice to go against corruption. But voice should be raised so that people can't practice in open. When any government organization started to work in political motive, they do more corruption, take some fake action against the party which are not so supportive to a particular political party and become blind to others who are needed by a political party. It will be but raising voice will restrict the rampant corruption. more

In the country, law abiding and implementation are negligible by personnel of different agencies due to corruption at base level. We never witnessed Food Inspectors really visiting the food establishments and prosecuting the erring establishments. It might be going only on paper taking bribes from hoteliers. Simply making rules appears as a wasteful exercise. more

For almost many years no one was aware about the FSSAI, its full form, its duties, responsibilities & the action that it can take. Now with the advent of Local Circles people get lot of information & whenever & wherever there is a mention of Food items, FSSAI name comes up. Has anybody read the Journals, information literature of FSSAI? At least I have not read & I do not know whether there is anything available in the market which I can purchase & read. What is the use of calling FSSAI employees corrupt? When no evidence is available how can we call them corrupt like all the Government servants? Writing a message or giving your comments is one thing but to give the statements 100% true is rather difficult. So first try to contact FSSAI people & try to know from them what is their say in the matter. Bakers who used banned chemicals should be penalised & no one can accept the Bakery products or to say any eatables with fungus. It is not true to think that unless FSSAI gives the punishment & proves that the product was definitely infested with the fungus that the company will be penalized. Any sensible & knowledgeable person can raise the issue & file complaint in the Consumer Forum & they will have to listen to the complaints of general public. more
