FSSAI certified ghee -- fit for consumption?
It seems like some kind of synthetic ingredients have been added. Real ghee does not solidify in any circumstances. But this "ghee" is always in solid form. So much so that we had to melt it on the stove for it to become liquid. Not wanting to take a chance of consuming something poisonous, I poured some of it in a diya and lit it...to my shock the "ghee" in the lamp had solidified again even though the flame was burning for several hours.
I am shocked that the FSSAI has certified this product which appears to be nothing like ghee and is most probably harmful for human consumption! I would like a response to my complaint from the right authorities, kindly let me know who to address.
Thanks. more
