FSSAI should be under Consumer Ministry

The FSSAI as an organisation is misplaced to be under Health Ministry of India. It should be under Consumer or Food Ministry.

At the state level consumer and food dept is generally one and away from the health dept.

Member of local circles should raise this issue and get Govt to restructure this for better delivery. more

The Govt Inspectors are required to be out and about inspecting all the famous eating places, before a holiday season begins. The kitchens are dirty, rats running around, unhygenic environments. more
