Good that fssai has come up. Please tell me if I have encountered with a serious issue with my food in any hotels or restaurants what shall I do? Do fssai has a call centre that I call immediately and update them so that their local office immediately get into action? more
There need to be a system like recall or impeachment against the politicians by the public. If certain % of voters in the constituency raise complaint against the elected leaders they must face election again to become eligible to continue the remaining tenure. That % should be about 5 to 10% of the polled votes to that leader. Even if they can manage to win again they will be afraid of facing the public frequently and tired of satisfying the chota leaders. The rate of abuse may be reduced to some extent hopefully. When the constitutional authorities fail to protect the constitution it looks like fencing eating the crop. When the sold leaders in the horse trading becomes ministers , whom should anybody address the prayers or complaints. All mall practices are known to every one. If any authority says they do not know that is their failure in their duty. But in our system there is punishment system to those who do the mistakes but there is no punishment for not doing the duty. Ours is chalta hai chelega culture. May be tomorrow will be brighter. more
We believe in preaching and not in practice.Over the years we have allowed lax practices and now if you want to correct it,you will face agitation and strikes etc.It is high time we have to totally stop this otherwise we have to face the consequences. more
Last year in Hyderabad the minister tried to stop ripening of Mangoes using Carbide. There was hue & Cry as well as agitation by Fruit vendors. After some time giving Poison openly becomes human right in INDIA with most corrupt Politicians in the world. What an Official can do if Government does not have Political will to implement good things. more
Mr. RamaRao, easily said than done. Do u think politicians need 'education'? as if they are not aware of the dangers. Greed for money overrides all other considerations. more
There is no need to care to the political influence than Public Health. Politicians are to be educated on side effects of Calcium Carbide more
The authorities which if are willing to act have already got powers but if they are not willing to work legislate any power will be of no use. I think we are being ruined only by the power vested as these powers are being used (rather abused) for something else. more
